Writing is a powerful tool for the betterment of individuals, families, organizations, communities, and beyond. It allows us the space to reflect, think, and then choose which path forward to take. In a culture where busy is oftentimes seen as best, writing invites us to slow the pace and remember our roots and restore our soul– or perhaps our sanity! 🙂 This gathering is an opportunity to come together with people desiring to cultivate a lifestyle with more writing and better writing– whether for personal or professional purposes. To engage in this gathering, participants need only be willing to learn and practice writing!

During a typical gathering, we try to take time for the following…

• Socialize and snack!
• Learn a writing practice OR read a short written piece
• Engage in a writing practice OR discuss the written piece
• Progress on a personal or professional writing project

Some General Notes:

• Registration closes two days before the gathering.
• Each monthly gathering will feature a different writing practice or written piece, so we encourage participants to come once or come monthly!
• Light refreshments will be provided.
• For those concerned about COVID, please know that this is a small gathering of not more than 8 people. If you register in advance and then decide not to come due to concerns about COVID, please contact us at 701-580-1257, and we will be happy to reimburse you your registration fee.
